Where you might be in your journey

Perhaps you’re still in the throes of uncertainty, battling with similar things I had:

    • Feeling Stuck: Maybe you’re feeling trapped in a cycle of self-doubt and indecision, unsure of which direction to take.
    • Lack of Confidence: Perhaps you’re struggling with confidence issues, constantly second-guessing yourself and your abilities.
    • Seeking Purpose: You might be yearning for a sense of purpose, longing to break free from the monotony of everyday life and pursue your passions.
    • Overwhelm: It’s possible that you’re feeling overwhelmed by the demands of modern life, struggling to find balance amidst the chaos.
    • Self-Limiting Beliefs: You could be held back by self-limiting beliefs, convinced that you’re not worthy of success or happiness.

But fear not, my friend! Your journey is just beginning, and there’s a world of possibility waiting for you. And while I can’t promise that the road ahead will be easy, I can assure you that it will be worth it.

So grab a cup of tea, snuggle up, and let’s dive into the next chapter together. After all, the adventure is just beginning, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

    hello there

Here in my blog, I provide all sorts of helpful tips for improving yourself, from useful life hacks to advice on developing your career and relationships.

Come join me on this journey of self-discovery, and together we’ll discover how to make life even better!

    Hey there, my kindred spirits!

Let me share my journey with you, just like we’re catching up over coffee.

I’m Lucie, a 32-year-old woman from Prague, Czech Republic. My childhood was a mix of high expectations and a lack of warmth, shaped by my parents’ experiences under communism. They pushed me to excel academically, but love and affection were in short supply.

University was a game-changer for me. Studying Pharmacy in a new city gave me my first taste of independence. But behind the facade of confidence, I battled insecurities and sought validation through material things.

Then came Italy. Through an Erasmus program, I found myself alone in a foreign land, and it was exhilarating! I learned to rely on myself and discovered a love for travel that would shape my future.

Next stop: Australia. Armed with just a one-way ticket, I embraced the challenge of juggling school and work. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me the value of perseverance and faith in something greater.

Returning home wasn’t as rosy as I’d hoped. Living with a parent strained my mental well-being, pushing me to make the tough decision to move out. Vancouver, Canada, beckoned next, and I fell in love with the place instantly.

Canada became my home, offering opportunities and a sense of belonging I’d never felt before. Despite the challenges, I threw myself into building a life here, determined to create my own path.

But then came the moment I had to leave Canada for the first time. Since I wanted to get my PR, I started working on my Pharmacy registration process. It was tough – it took four years of dedication, effort, and a lot of energy, but I never lost sight of my goal. In the meantime, I explored different job positions, bought my own place, and strengthened my friendships back in Czechia.

And let’s not forget – my determination to return to Canada never wavered. No matter the obstacles, I was resolute in my pursuit of making Canada my permanent home.

Now, 4 years later, I’m in Calgary, on the brink of completing my pharmacy registration. It’s been a journey of growth and resilience, overcoming self-doubt and fear along the way.

Now, where am I? Still on the path of self-discovery, of course! But I’ve picked up a few valuable lessons along the way:

    • Embracing Imperfection: I’ve learned that it’s okay not to have it all figured out. Life is messy, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
    • Self-Compassion: I’ve discovered the importance of being kind to myself, of treating myself with the same love and understanding I offer to others.
    • Living Authentically: I’ve found the courage to embrace who I am, flaws and all, and to live my truth unapologetically.
    • Mindfulness: I’ve learned the power of being present, of savoring each moment and finding joy in the little things.
    • Continuous Growth: I’ve come to realize that self-improvement is a lifelong journey, and I’m committed to embracing the process every step of the way.

Embrace the journey, cherish the growth, and never forget to take care of the most important person in your life – you.
